The Vault, under the musically gifted Marty Moody (lead guitar and singer), is a three piece cover band who plays all your favorite classic and southern rock songs from the 60s thru today. From the Beatles to Lynryd Skynyrd, and with a touch of country too, crowds are entertained with a wide variety of rock and roll.
With over 30 years of musical experience, Moody has played lead guitar with a wide variety of bands to include The Castaways, Breeze Band, Four Easy Pieces, and No Dice.

Moody began The Vault in the Fall of 2003. The band evolved after Moody left No Dice to begin a new adventure. He added old friend and drummer Eddie Newsome who was his drummer in a two piece band called Kid Kuz from the 80s. Kid Kuz was revamped in 2000 with the addition of Moody’s fiancee, vocalist Lucie. Soon thereafter, Moody and Newsome decided to create a three piece power trio concentrating on classic rock and roll. Bass players came and went, so in November 2003 Moody decided to take Lucie under his wing to create a permanent bass player. At this time the band’s name was changed to The Vault, and they have been rockin ever since.
